Roadmap

Step 1 – Beat the game and collect everything

Play through the entire game and collect every yellow flower/blossom in every chapter and also the 4 super secret figures in Chapters 6, 9, 12, 15.
You can collect 5.350 flowers in the 18 chapters. See the COLLECTIBLE GUIDE for more information.

 

Nothing is missable, you have access to a chapter select in the main menu.

I recommend focusing on getting all collectibles first and don’t care about dying. Most of the levels are much easier if you don’t collect the flowers and just run straight through. That’s why I split the game into these two stages. But of course, it’s possible to get all flowers and don’t dye in one go.

 

Here you have an overview of all chapters and which trophies you can get in which chapter.

 

Note: It is possible to get the collectible-related, the non-dying-related, and the kill-related trophies in other chapters than the ones I list it up here. My list shows you at which point in your playthrough you can get one trophy at the earliest.

Step 2 – Beat 10 chapters and the 3 chases without dying

After completing the whole game and collect everything you should be very familiar with the game and the chapters. Maybe you got some of the Not Dying Trophies. Now it’s time to do the rest.
Repeat 10 chapters and beat them without dying. I recommend these chapters: 1, 2, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15

When you choose these chapters you will also get Bronze Bone Dry (for non-dying at the chase in Chapter 4) and Bronze Keeping Your Cool (for non-dying at the chase in Chapter 11). For Bronze On the Up and Up you need to finish the chase in Chapter 9 without dying. The chase starts at the end of a long and not so easy level. That’s why I don’t recommend to clear the whole level and the chase without dying.  Instead, play through the level and don’t care about dying until the chase starts (after rolling through a tiny hole the camera changes to the front of skully, the lava wave follows you and Fiona will scream “Time for some fun! Look out behind you!”)

Chapter 4 and 11 are mostly the chases, that’s why I recommend these because you need to clear them anyway.

Step 3 – Cleaning Up

Now you have maybe some trophies left. Time to clean them up.

During the story you are able to change to three different forms, using the magical ponds. I will call them in the guide as following:

Pop! Splash!
Defeat 100 Water Punks
► The Water Punks are the water-shooting enemies in Skully. They start to appear in Chapter 2 – Breaking Through.

Attack them with your Strong Form by pressing . You will get the trophy most likely through your normal playthrough.

If not you can find and kill them in Chapter 2, 5, 7, 8, 12, 16
Anger Issues
Defeat 50 Lava Punks
► The Lava Punks are the moving and exploding rock enemies. They start to appear in Chapter 9 – Out Of The Frying Pan…

Attack them with your Strong Form by pressing . After that, the enemy will chase you and explode when he gets close to you.
You can find and kill them in Chapter 9, 10, 17.

You will probably not kill enough of them in your normal playthrough. After finishing the game go back to Chapter 9 and play until the first area with 7 Lava Punks, kill them and move a little bit further to the area where you need to use the Lava Punks to break through a wall. Kill the two Lava Punks moving around there and wait until new Lava Punks spawn out of the Lava Lake.

Bone Dry
Complete the Tidal Wave Chase without dying
► In Chapter 4 – Wave Of Anger you need to escape the Wave without dying, in one go. Restarting a checkpoint won’t work. Don’t collect the flowers and just concentrate on completing the level.

If you fail you need to restart the whole level. You can make a backup safe in the cloud or on a USB-Stick just before the chase starts. But the level is very short, so it’s not so much necessary.

After a short walk at the start of the chapter, you will see a cutscene, after that the chase starts. You will get the trophy at the end of the chapter.

On the Up and Up
Complete the Volcano Eruption without dying
► In Chapter 9 – Out Of The Frying Pan… you need to escape the Lava without dying, in one go. Restarting a checkpoint won’t work. Don’t collect the flowers and just concentrate on completing the level.

If you fail you need to restart the whole level. You can make a backup safe in the cloud or on an USB-Stick just before the chase starts.

The chase starts at the end of the chapter after rolling through a tiny hole, the camera changes to the front of skully, the lava wave follows you and Fiona will scream “Time for some fun! Look out behind you!”) You will get the trophy at the end of the chapter.

Keeping Your Cool
Complete the Lava Tube Chase without dying
► In Chapter 11 – Turning Up The Heat you need to escape the Lava without dying, in one go. Restarting a checkpoint won’t work. Don’t collect the flowers and just concentrate on completing the level.

If you fail you need to restart the whole level. You can make a backup safe in the cloud or on a USB-Stick just before the chase starts. But the level is very short, so it’s not so much necessary.

The chapters start and you have to follow some Jump ‘n’ Run passages. After that, you need to through skully over some lava and you will see a short sequence. After that sequence the chase will start. The chase ends after you roll through a blue-lighted hole at the left side of screen and you will get the trophy.

Find the super secret Wanda Figure

► In Chapter 6 – The Backup Plan you can find a golden Wanda figure. The figure is located right at the start of the chapter. Just turn 180 degrees and follow a short, dark path until you find the secret collectible.

Find the super secret Fiona Figure

► In Chapter 9 – Out Of The Frying Pan… you can find a golden Fiona figure. The figure is located at the end of the Lava chase. Don’t follow the blue path through the hole at the left. This is how you end the chase. Instead, go to the right and jump down to some rocks floating in the lava. Follow the path until you come to a platform moving up and down. Use this platform to reach the chamber with the secret figure in it.

Find the super secret Brent Figure

► In Chapter 12 –Dark Paths, Hard Truths you can find a golden Brent figure. You come to a point with a big chamber and 3 glowing cubes before it. Move two of them to the right of the chamber where you can find a hole in the wall (normal story-path) Use the vault form to build stairs for the Swift form to move up. After that move one of the glowing cubes through the hole. Don’t go through the green-lighted hole at the left of the room. Instead, go behind the rock at the right and follow the path. With the glowing cube, you can light up your way to the figure.

Find the super secret Terry Figure

► In Chapter 15 – The Secret Path you can find a golden Terry figure. At the end of the chapter, you came to a big chamber with a cliff and an old big tree. Grab one of the moving platforms you used to get across the water right before this area. Move it to the cliff, use the Vault Form to move it up a little bit so it will not fall down. Then change to the Swift Form and move the platform at the left to the breakable wall. Use to mark the start- and endpoint for the moving platform. Change to the Strong Form and use the platform to reach the breakable wall. Punch the wall with the Strong Form and you will find the Secret Terry Figure behind it.

Throw Skully 60m
► You will get this trophy when you throw Skully 60 meters with the Strong Form. You will get this ability in Chapter 10 – Burning Accusations. When using the Strong Form press   to pull Skully out of your mouth. After that press  to throw skully. One possible spot to throw Skully as far as requested is in Chapter 16 – Family Outing. After you used the two moveable platforms to climb the hill you come to a checkpoint. Go on the platform on the left with the Strong Form, switch to the Vault Form and lift the platform up and down using  . Switch back to the Strong Form and at the highest point throw skully down the Mountain.

► Skully has 5.500 collectibles to get. The collectibles are yellow flowers/blossoms.
None of the Collectibles are missable, you have access to a chapter select at any time in the main menu.You can see in the top left corner how many flowers you have collected and also in the chapter select you have an overview. You don’t have to finish a chapter to save you progress in collecting, the game saves every collectible instantly.It is impossible to describe every collectible and most of them you will get through your normal playthrough. Only some of them are a little bit hidden or off the path. If you have trouble find collectibles use the video guides below.
