Step 1 – Play through the game on any difficulty you want
First of all, enjoy this great game, and don’t worry too much about the trophies. Just make sure that you use every weapon for quite some time to reach level 5 with every weapon (pre-challenge mode maximum level) to avoid grinding in the end game. Don’t worry about the holocards and the bolts. You will have more than you need in the end. Also, make sure you don’t use Auto Hack on the trespasser puzzles.
Step 2 – RYNO Holocards & Gold Bolts
After finishing the story collect every RYNO Holocard and all Gold Bolts. So you don’t have to worry about that on your second playthrough. See Full Gun Rack and Ultimate Explorer for more information.
Step 3 – Challenge Mode & Remaining Trophies
Now it’s time to beat the game again on Challenge Mode. Use every weapon again until you reached the maximum level. Buy every upgrade, reach the maximum bolt multiplier, and don’t forget to use the Groovitron on every Enemy! Also, do all the miscellaneous trophies which are left. See the trophies for more information.
|The Hero of Heroes
Collect every trophy in Ratchet & Clank
Complete every holocard set.
|► There are a total of 108 Holocards in the game, divided into 33 Holocards sets, you need to complete. There are two different types of Holocards. The 99 standard cards (33 sets) and the 9 RYNO Holocards (one set).
You can find the Standard Holocards randomly and individual dropping from defeated enemies. You can also find packs of three cards all around the world. Which cards you get is always completely random, so there is no particular location for specific cards. You can see the location of the packs on the map after finding the Map-O-Matic. You can find the Map-o-Matic gadget on Kalebo III after completing the grind sequence in a glass container. To avoid searching hours over hours cards until you got the one you need, the game gives you the ability to trade card duplicates. Every time you find five cards you already got, you can trade them for one specific card. Do this to get every card you need and Trade Up as well.
The RYNO Holocards are completely different from the Standard Holocards. Each card has its own specific location you need to find. Most of them are behind some Trespasser Puzzles or you will get them as a reward for winning the Hoverboards Gold Cups. See Full Gun Rack for more information and a video guide that will show you every location.
Note: Don’t worry about the cards! You don’t need to find every pack on the map and you also don’t need to farm the cards. After your Challenge Mode Playthrough, you will have a lot, and I mean a lot, of cards left. Only concentrate on getting all RYNO Holocards, the rest will come naturally.
Complete the game in Challenge Mode.
|► After beating the game for the first time (doesn’t matter which difficulty you choose) you will unlock the Challenge Mode which you can access from the Start Menu. The Challenge Mode is a kind of New Game Plus Mode, which means that your stats, weapons, gold bolts, and holocards will carry over to the new playthrough. Also, you will get the ability to upgrade all of your weapons past level 5 to level 10. You will unlock Master of War by doing so.
To unlock this trophy you need to beat the whole game in challenge mode (doesn’t matter which difficulty you choose). The trophy will pop after the credits.
|Master of War
Upgrade every weapon to maximum level.
|► To unlock this trophy you need to upgrade every weapon to Level 10. To do so you need to kill enemies with a certain weapon. On your first standard playthrough, you can only upgrade to level 5, so don’t waste your time by using a weapon you have already upgraded to maximum. Also, it’s important to know that you can’t level up your weapons to level six or higher until you collect the Holocard Set from this weapon. See Super Trader if you want to know how to collect holocards. Make sure you stop using a weapon if you reached the maximum level.
After you finished your first playthrough, finish the game in Challenge Mode. In Challenge Mode you can buy the necessary upgrades at the vendor. The upgrades cost between 100,000 to 350,000 bolts. In total, you will need 3,5 million bolts. So make sure you keep your bolt multiplier as high as possible.
Note: The maximum level and the Upgrade Modifications are not the same. See These Go To Eleven to find some information about the Upgrades buying with Raritanium.
|These Go To Eleven
Unlock every modification for every weapon.
|► To unlock this trophy you need to buy every modification with Raritarium at the Vendor. Raritarium is the second currency in the game, which is only used by buying upgrades for your weapons. You will get Raritarium randomly by killing enemies (you can higher the drop chance by completing holocard sets and upgrading your weapons). Also, you can find Raritarium at certain points on the map. You can see the location of Raritarium on the map after finding the Map-O-Matic. You can find the Map-o-Matic gadget on Kalebo III after completing the grind sequence in a glass container. To buy the modifications go to a vendor and press to see the upgrade menu. Buy every upgrade for every weapon and the trophy will unlock. You can see if you completely upgraded a weapon at the percent number on the right top corner. Not all upgrades are available from the start, you need to level up a weapon to unlock new upgrades.
Note: The maximum level and the Upgrade Modifications are not the same. See Master of War to find some information about the maximum level.
Note: Don’t worry about Raritarium! You don’t need to find every Raritarium on the map and you also don’t need to farm Raritarium. After your Challenge Mode Playthrough, you will have a lot, and I mean a lot, of Raritarium left.
Upgrade Ratchet’s health to maximum level.
|► Ratchet’s maximum health level is 200. On your first playthrough, you can only level up to 100, so you need to play a second playthrough to unlock this trophy. In challenge mode, the level cap is 200. To level up, you need to kill enemies. Every time you kill an enemy you will get a certain number of XP. Just kill enemies until you reached level 200 and the trophy will unlock.
Acquire every gadget.
|► You can find 16 gadgets in the game. Most of them you will find during your normal story playthrough, for some of them you need to finish Side Missions. Nothing is missable, you can come back to any planet at any time to collect the gadgets. You can see in the Pause Menu which Gadget you are missing.
Note: If the trophy doesn’t unlock after collecting the last gadget, pause the game and look at the Gadgets Menu.
Collect every Telepathopus brain.
|► To unlock this trophy you need to find all Telepathopus brains on the map, 90 in total. You have to collect 30 brains to advance in the story. I highly recommend you leave the 60 brains left until you got the Map-O-Matic and get all of them in one go. You can find the Map-o-Matic gadget on Kalebo III after completing the grind sequence in a glass container. The Map-O-Matic will show you the location of each brain on the map, which makes it much easier. After you collected all brains go back to the Scientist and talk with him. He will give you the Box Breaker and the trophy will unlock.
|Go Speed Ratchet, Go!
Win the Gold Cup on both Rilgar and Kalebo.
|► There are two race tracks in the game, one on Rilgar and one on Kalebo. First of all you need to unlock the Gold Cup. For this you have to win the Bronze and Silver Cup on each planet. After this race the gold cup and win to unlock the trophy.
Complete every Trespasser puzzle without using AutoHack.
|► There are 16 Trespasser Puzzles in the game, you need to solve without using AutoHack. Don’t press or you will use the AutoHack and you missed the trophy for this playthrough. Most of the puzzles are story-related and the few others are required to get to some RYNO Holocards or Golden Bolts. So you need to solve them anyway. To see the solution from every 16 puzzles see the video below.
Note: Some puzzle have a different layout depending which difficulty you play. There are two possible layouts, one for Casual and one for Normal and Hard. You can change the difficulty at any time in the Pause Menu. The trophy will not locked by changing the difficulty.
The Video will show you all solutions on Normal/Hard.

|► The first big level will be Planet Novalis. After crashing on him you need to find and rescue the Mayor of Novalis and Plumber. It doesn’t matter in which order you do this, but you have to do both to continue the story and getting the trophy. Use the platform to heading down, fighting through a bunch of enemies to find the mayor. You will find Plumber at the end of the cave behind your ship.

|Who’s A Good Snagglebeast?
Defeat the Snagglebeast on Nebula G34.
|► On Nebula G34 you will fight your first Boss in the game, a giant mutant frog beast thing. At the end of the map, you will come to a closed-door with a vendor next to it. You need to open the door with the trespasser. Make sure you use the vendor before entering the arena, and fill up your ammo and upgrade your weapons. Use only your best-equipped weapons (I recommend Mr. Zurkon, Fusion Grenades, and the Rocket Launcher), run in circles, and make sure you don’t get it by the lava coming out of the floor.
Collect 30 brains for the Blarg Scientist on Gaspar.
|► After finding the grinding boots on Gaspar you come to a Blarg Brain Scientist who wants us to collect 30 brains in total for him. After collecting 10 brains you will get a Jetpack from him. Now you can fly around the map and collect the 20 brains left. Just follow the path right to the scientist and you will have 20 brains in no time. Get back to the scientist and he will give you an infobot and the trophy will unlock.
Note: You have to collect all 90 brains for Abby Normal. But I highly recommend you leave this task until you got the Map-O-Matic and get all of them in one go. You can find the Map-o-Matic gadget on Kalebo III after completing the grind sequence in a glass container.
|I Shot Down Your Battleship
Shoot down the Blarg Battleships on Batalia.
|► Batalia is a very fighting-intense planet, make sure you have upgraded your best weapons as far as you can. Mr. Zurkon is always a good choice. At the end of the map, you will come to a trespasser puzzle, solve it and you will get access to the big Ion Cannon.
See Safecracker if you want to see the puzzle solution. Now it’s time to shoot all the big Blark Battleships. You have to wait for the Ion Laser to charge, in the meantime shoot income small ships and rockets with Once the Ion Blaster is fully charged shoot one of the big ships using . Repeat this until you take down all 4 of them and unlock the trophy.
|Zurkon Family Values
Defeat Mrs. Zurkon on Quartu.
|► On Quartu you will have to fight your second boss in the game, a giant flying Robot named Mrs. Zurkon. The fight takes place at the end of the chapter. Again, use your strongest weapon against her. A good choice would be the Pixelizer and the Predator Launcher. If Mrs. Zurkon activates her child and shoots you with the shields, dodge these attacks and keep shooting at the shield until it’s gone. After you beat the boss the trophy will unlock.
Shoot down the hydroharvesters on Pokitaru.
|► On Pokitaru follow the main path together with Felton Razz to Big Al. Big Al will upgrade your ship with Tesla Rockets and give you a new jetpack. Use these Tesla Rockets to shoot down the hydroharvesters, steeling the water on the planet. The hydroharvesters are the ships looking like caterpillars or flying pearl necklace. If you run out of rockets, shoot the little ships to get more of them. Once you destroyed all 3 hydroharvesters the mission will be complete and the trophy will unlock.
Defeat Victor in the Phoenix.
|► After a short flying and shooting sequence with Ratchet you control Clank again. You have to run away from Victor and solve some room puzzles another two times. After that you will automatically defeat Victor and unlock the trophy.
Win the hoverboard Bronze Cup on Kalebo.
|► After a long fighting path on Kalebo III you will come to the office from a Gadgetron employee. He will ask you to remove the flooded water on the race track. After doing this you can participate the Bronze Cup. You must win only the Bronze Cup to get the Hologuise and to progress in the story. However, for the trophy Go Speed Ratchet, Go! you have to win the Gold Cup on Kalebo and Rilgar. And for Kalebo Thunder you have to win the Gold Cup in under 2:05 Minutes.
|A Change Of Heart
Defeat Captain Qwark on the Deplanetiser.
|► After winning the Bronze Cup and getting the Hologuise you are able to disguise to Captain Qwark. Follow the Main Path until you finally have to fight Qwark himself. Again, use your strongest weapons against this Boss. When Qwark uses his Groovitron you have to destroy the Ball by “dancing” through it. After you defeated him the trophy will unlock.
|Faster than a Speeding Amoeboid
Complete the hoverboard Gold Cup on Rilgar in under 1:35
|► First of all, you need to unlock the Gold Cup on Rigar. To do this you need to win the Bronze Cup and the Silver Cup. Now you need to complete the Gold Cup in under 1 Minute and 35 Seconds. The enemies are driving around 2 Minutes, so you need to be much faster than them. Avoid the red and exploding boxes and gain as much boost as you can. You gain boost by destroying the brown crates, doing tricks mid-air, and flying through the blue rings. Also, drive over the blue arrows on the ground to get some boost. Try to use a boost with every time you don’t gain speed from the boosts on the ground. So you are driving all the time with maximum speed.
Complete the hoverboard Gold Cup on Kalebo in under 2:05
|► First of all, you need to unlock the Gold Cup on Kalebo III. To do this you need to win the Bronze Cup and the Silver Cup. Now you need to complete the Gold Cup in under 2 Minute and 5 Seconds. The enemies are driving around 3 Minutes, so you need to be much faster than them. Also use the two huge shortcuts on the track, with them you can easily finish the race in 1:45 or faster.
Complete the Fitness Course on Kerwan in under 70 seconds.
|► After you stopped the train and saved the Allero City on Kerwan, you have to finish the fitness course. For proceeding with the story it doesn’t matter how fast you are. For this trophy, you need to finish the course in under 70 seconds (01:10). Unfortunately, there is no shown timer to indicate how fast you are. The time will start when you here a horn. It’s not too difficult and you can do it on your first try. At the end of the course, you will get a golden bolt. Also at the end of the course, a taxi is waiting, which will bring you back to the start of the fitness course. So you can try again as often as you want.
Crush 5 gadgebots in the crusher on Quartu.
|► On Quartu you will play Clank and you have to solve some puzzles. When you come to a room with some conveyor belts and crushers in it you are at the right spot. Grab some gadgebots (the little robots you have to use to build bridges, power doors and you can jump on) and place them on the belt by the crushers. Now use one bot to power up the crusher, so the bots will drive under the crusher, after that, you have to remove the Powerbot and the crusher will come down and destroy the bots. Repeat that until you have destroyed 5 bots and the trophy will unlock.
Note: Make sure the bots will be destroyed from the crusher and not by glitching out. If the bots standing on the crusher and driving up with the crusher it doesn’t count. The bot must stand on the moving belt when the crusher comes down. Sometimes it’s easier to achieve this by electrifying the crusher first and throw the bots after that on the belt.
|That Sinking Feeling
Knock a constructobot into the quicksand on Aridia.
|► On Aridia you will come to a construction site (right part of the map) with some conveyor belts and a yellow construcobot with a red tank on his back. Under these conveyor belts, you can find some quicksand. Use your Omniwrench to knock the constructobot off the conveyor belts and unlock the trophy. You can also use other weapons. If you kill the enemy without knocking him off, you have to leave the planet and come back, the enemy will respawn by leaving the planet.
|I Hate Lamp
Break every lamp in Aleero City.
|► On the planet Rilgar you can find 17 lamps all around Aleero City. 7 lamps are located in the starting area and 10 lamps are on the train station, 2 of them are a little bit hidden in the area where you can find the Gold Bolt. Break all of them by shooting or punishing and the trophy will unlock. See the video below for a visual guide.
Note: If you revisiting Rilgar, use the taxi next to your ship to get back to the original starting point.
|Not My Job
Allow the extermibots to kill 35 amoeboids in Rilgar.
|► You can find two types of enemies on Rilgar, fighting each other. First, the Green Slime Blobs named Amoeboids, and second the yellow robots named Extermibots. Let them kill each other until you got the trophy. The trophy is missable because if you kill the extermibots too fast, they can’t kill enough amoeboids. But the changes are really high, that you will get the trophy without paying attention.
Defeat 40 enemies while jetpacking in Gaspar.
|► After you collected 10 brains for the Scientist (Story Related) you will get the Jetpack. Fly around the planet and kill 40 enemies (any type) while mid-air. If you run out of fuel go pack to a fuel-station, one is for example next to the scientist or one right at the start by your ship. The start of the map is also a good point to farm this trophy. When you drive down with the moving platform you will have two Dog-Enemy-Spawner. Kill only the Dogs and not the spawner to farm the trophy in no time.
|When Sheep Fly
Sheepinate a Blarg Helicopter Commander.
|► To unlock this trophy you must destroy a Blarg Helicopter Commander with your Sheepinator. On your first playthrough, this is possible only on Kalebo III, because you can buy the Sheepinator there for the first time. If you missed this opportunity, don’t worry, you can do this on your Challenge Mode Playthrough. You will find a Blarg Helicopter on these planets and missions:
Kerwan: during the missions “Find a route to the Hall of Heroes” / “Find a train to the Hall of Heroes” and on the train in “Ride the train to the Hall of Heroes”
Shoot with the Sheepinator on the helicopter until he explodes and the trophy will unlock.
|Warbots Into Plowshares

|► After defeating Mrs. Zurkon in the big factory on Quartu you have to destroy 10 inactive Warbots. Search for one conveyor belt with warbots coming out of a machine and destroy the bots by punching or shooting. There are several of these lines, it doesn’t matter which one you use. Repeat that until the trophy will unlock. You can do this also after completing the story. Just use the teleporter right at your ship to get directly inside the factory.

You can visit this room on your first and second playthrough. Just shoot the five models until they pop and the trophy will unlock.
|Et tu, Copernicus?
Find Qwark’s Lounge on the Deplanitiser.
|► Captain Qwark has a secret lounge on the Deplanitiser you can visit but don’t enter. The easiest way to find it is after completing the story, revisit the Deplanitiser, and use the teleporter right at your ship to teleport to the Core. Go back-track through the big hall, with a lot of enemies in it, to the tunnels. Cross the first intersection with two locked doors. After a short right turn, you will find a gangway to the left and also two locked doors. Qwark’s Lounge is behind the left door. Stand in front of the door for a couple of seconds until you hear Qwark start speaking. After he finished his monologue the trophy will unlock.
Ride every catwalk without moving in Kalebo.
|► On Kalebo III you can find four catwalks (conveyor belts), you need to ride on over the whole distance without moving. The first three belts you can find directly at the start on the bridge leading to the Office where you can start the race. The fourth catwalk is a bridge between the second and third testing sequence. After riding the third belt go to the Office from the gagdetron employee (where you can start the Race) and turn right. Go through the testing room and turn right to find the catwalk. Go to the start of one belt and walk on the belt, at the moment you are on the belt, stop using your controller and don’t move (you can use the camera, but don’t move with Ratchet) until you reached the end of the belt. The trophy will unlock after you ride the fourth belt completely.
Note: Do this on your first playthrough, some players mentioned that they can’t get the trophy on challenge mode. So to be safe, do this on your first run.
|Death By Disco
Use the Groovitron on every type of enemy.
|► To unlock this trophy you need to make every enemy dance with your Groovitron. There is no in-game list of which enemies are required and which enemies you already got. So make sure to get the Groovitron as soon as possible (Rilgar) and use it on every fight you make at least once. Your progress will carry over to your second playthrough. There are a lot of enemies which will not respawn and only appears once. So this trophy is highly missable. Make sure you use it every time you fight. See the Video Guide below for more information on every enemy, like where to find and if the enemy respawns or not.
Complete your first Raritanium weapon mod.
|► You need to upgrade one weapon with Raritanium. You find Raritarium by killing enemies or breaking crystal rocks. The first time you can buy an upgrade is after crashing on Novalis. You will see a blue cube with a “G”-Hologram in front of you. This is the weapon vendor, the shop, you can find everywhere in the game. Use it, follow the tutorial, and buy a mod for the Fusions Grenade or the Combustor to get this trophy.
Reach the maximum bolt multiplier in Challenge Mode.
|► On Challenge Mode you will higher up a bolt multiplier by killing a certain number of enemies without taking damage. If you take damage or die the multiplier will reset to x1. To unlock the trophy you need to reach the maximum multiplier, which is x20. There are some good spots to farm kills, for example killing the Sandsharks on Aridia or killing the Amoeboids on Rilgar. See the Video Guide below for more information.
|Trader In Training
Complete your first holocard set.
|► To unlock this trophy you need to collect you first complete holocard set. Each set requires you 3 cards. See Super Trader for more information.
Trade in a set of duplicate holocards for a new one.
|► If you have 5 duplicates from, you can trade them for one single new one. This will unlock the trophy. You can check your card collection in the Pause Menu. You can see on the bottom left corner how many duplicates you have. This trophy is tagged as Missable because you can collect every single card without trading once, but don’t worry, that’s highly unlikely.
